It was a nice time pacing 9 min/mile for 9 miles during yesterday's CES run. Great group and got to chat with one of the trainees, a CSO violinist!
Many of you know my roots to music with my bachelor and master degrees in clarinet performance, which included studying with the CSO clarinet section. I then worked in production at the CSO-so, it was nice to "talk shop" with another musician!
I am actually on the blue line heading home right now, having just picked up our new puppy, Schubert, in St Louis. I caught a 745am flight and am due home by about 1. Not so bad for an out and back trip! I am most glad that there was BARELY any type of delay!
Thanks to Tonya, of United in St Louis, for taking care of myself and Schubert! I promised her some Garrett's popcorn (cheese n caramel) because she provided such superior customer service! I will have to remember to bring that down next time.
