- I paced for CES/Fleet Feet's Soldier Field 10 last Tuesday. We did about 45 minutes followed by striders.
- Wednesday was just cross training (upper & lower strengtheningg) at the gym followed by abs class.
- Thursday was a fun evening at Niketown pacing the 9:30 group for 5 miles.
- Saturday was an abbreviated half marathon training run due to the elements that dropped onto the path the evening prior. So, we did 6 miles.
- Last night was my second Tuesday pacing the CES/Fleet Feet Soldier Field 10 training. We went for about 40 minutes followed by striders.
- Now, we are to today. The plan is an EASY evening of probably just upper strengthening followed by bike and abs. We shall see what order. I plan on joining the Nike Fleet Feet Racing Team to take advantage of the awesome speed workouts on Wednesdays next week or the week after.
- TOMORROW is the FINALE of Nike's Shamrock Shuffle Training Runs at Niketown. I hope the weather holds up! Club RunCHI will continue on Thursdays at 6:15pm next week so don't think it's disappearing. You never know! Maybe there will be even more days! Stay tuned!
- SUNDAY'S SHAMROCK SHUFFLE! Can Ken meet his goal of 8 minutes/mile or better?!? Now that I've told you, I hope I haven't psyched myself out! I hope to enjoy myself and run hard. You can find me at the Nike tent afterwards and see or ask me how I did. If I have a frown--you could probably guess. ;)
FACEBOOK ANYONE? If so, I have one now and am listed as "Ken Chin". I'll be your friend. Just ask me. ALSO, there is a group called RUN CHI that you should join!
That's all for now and my sincerest apologies for the delay!
