45 MINUTES OF HILLS! WO HOOOOOOO! + Tomorrow's Niketown Run Plans...

I had to make sure I sent this before leaving the gym, or else I the adrenaline and other awesome thoughts would have faded.  I FEEL AWESOME!

I took it easy (NO, NOT A TEMPO RUN!) and did about 4.5 miles in about 45 mins.  I used the hill setting so I actually got something out of being on the treadmill.  I just feel like I am getting more out of it when I do hills with the tready.  It's the closest thing to the actual thing in Chicago, without the need to be redundantly running up and down one hill.  Does that make sense?

What I'm trying to say is that you can run up and down cricket hill (or that one by McCormick Place-forgive me for not knowing the name, if it even has one!) forever and get SO sick of it; so, that's why I think the treadmill is a tad bit better (maybe not as steep, but better), ESPECIALLY because I JUST graduated my first year of running this past January!  These are huge LEAPS forward considering the time I've been hitting the pavement (as well as the rubber cloth thing that goes around the treadmill).

ON TO TOMORROW!  I hope that the Niketown run is not cancelled because, as we all must admit, those runs are the HIGHLIGHT of the week!

CANCELLED OR NOT CANCELLED--GET YOUR WORKOUT IN!  And then we are getting together!  It's been a while!  Plan is to meet at TGIF around the corner from Niketown @ 7:30 NO MATTER WHAT!

Post  your comment to let me know you'll be coming!  (Matt P. has committed already - we made the executive decision at the gym tonight!)

SWOOOSH!

I got a better hill run for you...Palos. When the weather gets better I'll take you to some of my favorite hill trails. You'll love it.

I'll probably be there tonight. I miss you guys!
