Possible to "Run" Out of Things to Blog About?!?

I was thinking in abs class today (That's, right, John K--I went to abs class!)...  what do I blog about next?  Will I run out?

Then, low and behold.  We had to partner up with another person in class to do these toe touch/reaches.  And, I partnered up with a girl named Becky.  I swear I did not say anything about running.  I held myself back.  Instead, she mentioned how she was a little spent from her 4 mile run before class.

Having done several abs classes after miles on the treadmill during our awful winter, I could see where she was coming from.  The worst part is how your hips are already tired from running and then you have those awful yoga-lates moves that are part of abs class that really push you over the edge at times.  (<--you must know I love this class with my WHOLE heart, right?!?)

Ok--to continue the story--I asked her if she was "a runner."  When she told me that she tries to be, it's like I was programmed to tell her in less than 10 seconds about the free Nike marathon training runs at all 5 locations.  Of course, I enticed her about the free food and awesome raffle prizes.

Matt P--fellow pacer and marathon training coach--gave me the kudos for promoting (he likes to stalk me and go to the same group fitness classes I go to (that was a joke).)

Was I promoting though?  Or, did I just want to share my awesome experiences with another person?

Perhaps, it was both.  Well, yeah...it was.  But, I think it was more of the latter.

Becky--if you end up making it to this site via Facebook and/or Nikerunning.com like I mentioned, this shout out is to you.  We hope you are able to join us during our awesome Nike running adventures!

i believe that is word of mouth marketing at its finest. people pay agencies big money to create buzz about products and engage consumers to be able to do the kind of word of mouth marketing that you do for nike pretty much daily. looks like the northside/southside challenge was money well spent on nike's part. of course, it helps that they also had a great product (the run club) to offer customers :)
